Tapthat does not tolerate scammers and will instantly revoke access from the Tapthat site. If you believe you have been contacted by a scammer, please let us know. Our top tips: The purpose of the Tapthat is to encourage face-to-face, buying and selling. Tapthat advises you to always meet in-person. For personal safety, always ensure you take someone with you. Never send your item before receiving the money Take special care when buying expensive items like laptops, TVs, tickets, cars, and bikes.. When buying airline tickets we suggest you take the seller's name and ticket number, check the ticket exists. For bikes ask the seller for the security serial number - check this with the police. In case of fraud or illegal activity (stolen goods), we recommend that you report it to the Police. Whether you're buying or selling on Tapthat, please always remain aware and avoid any deal / offer that look suspicious. Offers that are too good to be true usually are.
